Internet poker has become globally famous recently, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, stretches back in reality a bit farther than its TV ratings. Over the years numerous variations on the first poker game have been created, including a few games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of the above-mentioned games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely related to blackjack than traditional poker, in that the players wager against the bank rather than each other. The succeeding hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is no conniving or other kinds of deceptiveness. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up prior to the croupier broadcasting "No further bets." At that point, both you and the dealer and of course all of the different players attain 5 cards each. Once you have seen your hand and the bank’s 1st card, you must in turn make a call bet or surrender. The call bet’s value is akin to your beginning bet, indicating that the risks will have increased two fold. Bowing out means that your ante goes directly to the house. After the bet comes the face off. If the house does not have ace/king or greater, your bet is given back, plus a figure in accordance with the initial bet. If the house does have ace/king or greater, you win if your hand is greater than the casino’s hand. The house pays out cash even with your initial bet and set expectations on your call wager. These expectations are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for two pairs
  • three to one for three of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • 20-1 for a four of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
